How much does landscaping cost in Houston?
It depends on the service. Luxury Landscaping publishes a price for 9 of its 19 services: Houston lawn care and gardening at $75/hr, weed control and mosquito treatment at $75/hr, landscape design at $100 a session (a visit booked on its own carries the $150 minimum), sprinkler repair at a $150 minimum and landscaping maintenance at a $150 minimum. Quotes by phone, photos or video call are free, and an on-site visit is free inside Loop 610. Landscaping installation and other outdoor work is quoted per property, because scope, grade, soil, access and materials decide the cost.
The hourly rate is the same in every Houston service area Luxury Landscaping works in. A one-off job outside Loop 610 carries a mobilization fee on the same zones as the estimate visit: $50 between Loop 610 and Beltway 8, $100 outside Beltway 8, and nothing inside the Loop. It is charged once per job, sits on top of the $150 minimum, and recurring customers do not pay it.

Hourly services are charged for the hours the work takes on site, from arrival to finish; the number of hours depends on the size and condition of the property and is confirmed before any work starts. A one-off job outside Loop 610 also carries a mobilization fee, $50 inside Beltway 8 or $100 beyond it, charged once per job and never to recurring customers. How much does landscaping cost in Houston?
It depends on the service. Luxury Landscaping publishes a rate for the services that can be priced in advance: $75 per person, per hour for Full Service Lawn Care and for Gardening (off-season and non-specialised work is $64 per person, per hour), $75 per person, per hour for Weed Control and Pest Control & Mosquito Repellant, $100 for a one-hour Landscape Design session (a visit booked on its own carries the $150 minimum), a $150 minimum for Sprinkler System Repairs, and a $150 minimum for Landscaping Maintenance. Landscaping Installation is quoted per property because the scope decides the cost, and a quote by phone, photos or video call is free; an on-site visit is free inside Loop 610, $50 inside Beltway 8 and $100 beyond.
Why are some services quoted per property instead of priced?
Because the work is not comparable between properties. Landscaping Installation depends on the size of the area, the grade, the soil, the access and the materials chosen, so a published figure would be misleading. Those services start with the free Consultation & Estimate visit, and the written estimate follows within a week.
Are the published prices hourly or per visit?
Both, depending on the service. Full Service Lawn Care, Gardening, Weed Control and Pest Control & Mosquito Repellant are hourly, per person. Sprinkler System Repairs carry a $150 minimum that covers up to an hour and a half, then go hourly. Landscape Design is $100 for a one-hour session. Landscaping Maintenance is published as a $150 minimum. Apart from recurring lawn care, any visit carries the $150 minimum.
Does the price change depending on where in Houston I am?
No. The published prices are the same across every area Luxury Landscaping serves.
Do I pay for an estimate?
A quote is free by phone, video call, email, text, or from the project details you submit on the website. An on-site visit is free inside Loop 610, $50 between Loop 610 and Beltway 8, and $100 outside Beltway 8, paid before the visit and credited against the project as part of the deposit, so on a job that goes ahead it costs nothing. One-off jobs carry a mobilization fee on those same zones, which recurring customers do not pay. The free options above are unaffected wherever you are.
Is a deposit required before work starts?
For large projects, a non-refundable deposit may be required to secure the booking. That deposit is applied to the final cost of the project.
