Overview
Mowing keeps a lawn tidy. Gardening is what keeps everything else looking intentional: beds re-cut and weeded, shrubs shaped rather than sheared, mulch topped up before it thins, and seasonal colour rotated so the front of the house reads well in February as well as April.
Most clients book this as a standing monthly visit. The same gardener comes back to the same beds, learns what is planted and how it behaves, and catches the small problems while they are still small: a scale infestation, a shrub outgrowing its spot, mulch washing out of a corner.

Do you offer monthly gardening?
Yes, and it is how most gardening clients book. Monthly gardening carries a $250 minimum per month, with hours above that billed at the applicable rate. The visit is scoped to what your beds actually need and we agree the figure before the first visit rather than after it.
Can I hire a gardener just for my beds, not my lawn?
Yes. Gardening covers beds, borders, shrubs and seasonal colour. If you want the lawn cut as well, that is Full Service Lawn Care, and the two can be scheduled on the same visit.
How is gardening priced?
Gardening is $75 per person, per hour from April to November, and $64 per person, per hour from December to March for recurring customers. A standing monthly arrangement carries a $250 minimum per month, and a one-off session falls under the $150 minimum. It is billed by the hours worked on site, from arrival to finish, so a two-hour visit with two gardeners is four hours of labour.
Do you look after trees and shrubs as well as beds?
Yes. Pruning, shaping and feeding trees and shrubs is part of gardening. Larger tree work such as removal is quoted separately, so ask and we will tell you whether it is something we take on.
What is the difference between gardening and landscaping maintenance?
Gardening is hand work in the beds and borders. Landscaping Maintenance covers the whole property, including lawn, beds, shrubs, irrigation checks and seasonal work, rolled into one recurring plan.
